Llegó el miércoles y en medio de tanto ajetreo derivado de Halloween, hicimos una pausa para nuestro primer (y espero que último) encuentro con la NBA. Los Dallas se habían acercado hasta Pittsburgh a jugar un amistoso contra Cleveland (el equipo más cercando de aquí). Todo gracias a que el dueño de Dallas es de Pittsburgh. Tengo que reconocer que no me gusta demasiado el baloncesto, pero aun así, creo que tengo suficiente juicio como para asegurar que la forma de vender el baloncesto americana es peor.
Ponen tanto espectáculo de por medio, que se olvidan casi del partido en sí. Soporífero ver como el juego se para cada poco para que dos con barriga cervezera intenten meter un triple o algo así para que les regalen un coche...
NBA during the week
On Wednesday, while having a little break from Halloween, it was time to enjoy our first NBA game (hopefully the last one). Dallas visited Pittsburgh for a preseason game against Cleveland (the closest NBA team from here). The Dallas owner is from Pittsburgh, that might be the only reason for this game to be played.
I don't like basketball so much, but anyway, I think the american way it's just worse. So many extra stuff around the game just makes it loose all the atmosphere and intensity of the game. It's really boring to watch a game where every single minute there is a break so some beer belly guys challenge to make some 3pointers and win a prize...
